Born in Chicago, Barrett is a third-generation artist whose award-winning work first drew attention in France. Her introductory exhibition at Hotel Tallyrand, Paris, sold out. That success was shortly followed by exhibits at the historic Salon d’Autumne at the Grand Palaise in Paris; the Grand Prix International de Painture de Deauville, and the Grand Prix International de la Cote d’Azur. She has exhibited at Galerie Jean Lammelin (Paris), Atelier Melamine (Switzerland) and her work as been published in a German calendat and an American book of poetry.
Her paintings also have appeared in the USA Television Network series “Necessary Roughness” and in the Reece Witherspoon movie, “The Good Lie.”
Barrett is represented nationally by Huff Harrington Gallery (Atlanta, GA); Jones and Terwilliger Fine Art (Carmel and Palm Desert, CA); Thomas Anthony Gallery (Park CIty, UT); Thornwood Gallery (Houston, TX) and Magnolia Fine Art (Augusta, GA)
This is her first time exhibiting at the Waterfowl Festival.
