A collection of exceptional 19th and 20th century paintings and sculptures by internationally acclaimed wildlife and nature artists. Outside of museum exhibits, rarely does one have the opportunity to view a collection of works by such renown masters gathered together and offered for sale.
The Legends of the Shore Collection - John and Suzie Seerey-Lester
The Festival is proud to announce the addition of the Legends of the Shore Collection to the 2012 Masters Gallery exhibit. World-renowned artist and former Festival exhibitor, John Seerey-Lester, and his wife, Suzie, also an award-winning painter, traveled to the area throughout the summer seeking inspiration for an original collection of plein air scenes showcasing the beauty and heritage of Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The duo will create approximately 30 pieces to be exclusively available at the 2012 Festival.
The couple will also be hosting painting demonstrations at the Avalon Theatre at 11am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the Festival weekend.
