Kids Nature Activities

This is the place for kids of all ages. A place where you can get up close to feathers, beaks, eggs, nests, turtles and snakes; make your own pinecone bird feeder, paint a decoy, decorate a goose cookie; watch raptors fly, play with a live goose, feel the feathers on a live owl. A great opportunity for fun and learning about nature.

Kids Fishing Derby

Saturday & Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Kids under the age of 16 are provided with rods, bait, encouragement and individualized guidance in their quest to hook a fish. Polaroid photos of each “first catch,” along with a certificate and prize are presented to each participant but the fish are returned to the pond. You won’t want to miss this fun and memorable opportunity to introduce your child to the world of fishing.
