World Championship Goose Calling Contest®

Each November the best callers in the world flock to the Waterfowl Festival in Easton, Maryland.

With audiences of 600+, six contests and incredible prize packages on the line, the stage is always set for an exciting evening. The beauty of Easton's contests is the level playing ground. Anyone, novice or master, can blow. Proud Duck and Goose callers representing at least 16 states and Canada make the journey to Easton for the coveted titles and prize packages. Waterfowl Festival calling contest cash prizes are among the highest in the nation, ranging from $250 - $10,000.

While the prize packages are wonderful to win, it's the warm, small town welcome and the unwavering comradery that embraces each family that travels to Easton for this annual event. Judges, Callers, Parents/Family members and Visitors alike, comment each year on how friendly and accommodating the Festival and Easton have been. The Waterfowl Festival is very proud of its Calling Contests and very thankful and appreciative of the many dedicated volunteers and sponsors that make it a world class event.

2009 Waterfowl Festival Calling Contests:
3 p.m. Friday November 13 - Senior Preliminaries
12 noon, Saturday, November 14 - Junior Preliminaries
7 p.m. Saturday, November 14 – Finals
